Sample Starters

  • Fennel and celeriac soup with croutons    £5.00                                            
  • Pan-fried local scallops on a celeriac puree served with sweet carrot and chestnut stuffed savoy cabbage  £6.00
  • Smoked salmon on a sun-blushed tomato and caper pancake with spring onion salad and basil creme fraiche  £5.50
  • Organic mushroom and golden cross goat's cheese crispy wonton on rocket salad with pomegranate and pink peppercorn dressing £5.50

Mains

  • Roast Scotch ribeye of beef with duck fat roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables,
    Yorkshire pudding and red wine gravy £13.50
  • Pan-roasted guinea fowl breast on sage and celeriac mash with curly kale and jus £10.00
  • Cassoulet - Confit duck, Toulouse sausage, pork belly, white beans with herb crust £10.00
  • Pan-fried lemon sole on spinach with sauteed potatoes and caper, lemon and parsley butter  £11.00
  • Twice baked Applewood cheddar, caramelised red onion and butternut squash souffle with an endive, apple and walnut salad £9.00


Puddings

Fresh, flavoursome and fabulous

Local produce is sourced where possible from the surrounding Sussex and Kent farms and fisheries, much of which is organic and GM free. The herbs are picked from the restaurant’s own herb garden that is a feature of the Summer Terrace.

Our superb value lunch menu starts from £10 (excluding Sunday) and changes daily and we always feature a classic Sunday roast for Sunday Lunch. We offer a children’s menu and early evening dining menu (from £10) between 6pm - 7pm Monday - Thursday.

A carefully selected international wine list compliments the dishes depending on the occasion. There’s a choice of excellent house recommendations plus a handpicked range of fine wines and champagnes for that special celebration.

Our classic cocktails are prepared using premium spirits and fresh fruit.
