Sam Metcalfe, Owner/Head Chef, a graduate from Westminster College and with over 20 years experience, has a pedigree of several top London restaurants including 192, Kensington, The Terrace, Chez Nico, The Groucho Club, L’Escargot, and Pied a Terre. At just 21 he was appointed Head Chef at The Belvedere, Holland Park.
Sam returned to the South Coast, his home soil to fulfil a dream and ambition. He opened Sevendials Restaurant in 2001 and Sam's of Brighton in 2008. His philosophy is to create exquisite full flavoured dishes incorporating fresh produce served by attentive staff in stylish and welcoming surroundings.
Fresh flowers, changing artwork and a gallery of black and white Metcalfe family photos are just a few personal touches. Even the bathrooms are a visual delight!
We offer disabled access and facilities in the main restaurant also baby changing facilities and highchairs if required.
